Teasing

The other day I'm in the "Freshmen Hallway" in my school, talking to my sister. It's passing time, so the hall's full kids at their lockers and going to classes. I see a sophomore boy named James on his way to his locker, and suddenly some guy comes up behind him and smacks him in the back of the head with a biology textbook.

It seems to have become a fad to be mean to people. Somehow my generation slept through or otherwise mocked the truly important phrase "Do onto others as you would like them do onto you." I have witnessed bullying, taunting, and teasing as a source of laughter more than I could have ever imagined considering how much we are taught to do the opposite.

I'm an Indigo Girl FANATIC. I really don't think a better band was created - I think there other great bands out there, but the two women who make up the group really rock my world in many ways. So of course I have most of their albums in my car and listen to whichever one strikes my fancy on any given day.

Just started first grade. I could'nt be even more proud! Just the sweetest little being who has more life more light in her eyes, than any other child. Bias I may be but I'm her mother! Perfection was made when she was born. I see no flaws in her...others do when they look at her.
