I was merely 16 years old when I went to church in the middle of nowhere with one of my aunts. I had never been super religious, even though I had read the bible several times. I always questioned religion, and even at a young age had asked some questions that even seemed to make church officials think. At this point in my life, my home life really, really sucked.

Inking for Progress?
A few days ago I got my first tattoo. I'm basically in love with it. It's a purple star on my right wrist. The guy that did it actually said he was proud of me because the wrist is a pretty painful place for a first tattoo, but it didn't really hurt. Purple, aside from my favorite color, signifies loyalty, and the star represents my dreams.

Think before you ink! Tips before getting a tattoo
Yes people I have 2 tattoos. Although I am not a tattooologist( I made up the word sue me) or an expert I have some tips if any of you have been wanting to get a tattoo or plan on getting one in the future. These are helpful and may save you time, money and regret.
I'm thinking about getting INK
So, I've been thinking about a tattoo. I am skeptical about getting one, but I've decided I have to get one that actually has some sort of meaning . It has to be a reminder that will stay true throughout my life. I'm think about a Chi-rho on the front of my shoulder, near the collar bone.

Visual Timelines on My Body
I got my first tattoo when I was 16. It was on my inner left wrist and read: Anarchy + Peace = Happiness, well, in symbols. I went to a friend's shop, and unfortunately, the quality of ink was low and it has since faded. (My idealist thinking still believes the tattoo to be true, but my realistic thinking knows that people are inherently greedy.)

Why mark yourself?
I have a friend who on her birthday stated, "I'm going to get a tattoo tomorrow!" And when we asked her what she was getting she said, "I don't know. I will look through the books when I get there."
