The United States is a big country, but there is no denying that those of us who live here cannot afford to ignore what's going on in the rest of the world.
We'll track issues related to U.S. foreign policy, international business, and what the rest of the world thinks about the United States. We already have several members from other countries, so we're sure we'll get a healthy variety of viewpoints.

With all the controversy that surrounded the appointment of John Bolton (haha I accidentally wrote Michael Bolton at first) as the US ambassador to the UN, the man had a point. The UN is messed up.
The thought of a world language that could be spoken and understood in any country is quite a formidable subject of discussion. There are a few developed alternative languages but so few people speak them that it really isn’t worth mentioning them. Esperanto is the most widely used alternative language in the world although the majority speak it only as a hobby.
It's a powerful word.

Cause God forbid they use it to describe the annihilation of 1,500,000 Armenians in Turkey at the beginning of the 20th century.
And God forbid they do anything about what's going on elsewhere!

Quite an intriguing question to be asked; what is “progress?” Before I ramble on about what progress means to me, I feel that defining the term itself may help in understanding its importance. Progress is any positive movement. Moving beyond the limits of whatever is considered to be status-quo. Growth where growth is needed is what defines progress.
