Recently, I found out that a couple of guys I know got arrested for robbing a restaurant. Honestly, I just do not understand why someone would do that. What is even more shocking is that one of the guys was a close friend of mine. I never in a million years would think he would do such a thing. He was always real nice and good, I mean he was not perfect but he tried to do good.
This morning, I had a case of the birthdays.
What are the birthdays, you ask?
Well, it's the feeling you (or I, at least) have on my birthday: that happy, perky feeling that just kind of resonates with you during your day of birth.
I felt like "Yaaay!!! I can have my cell phone with me all day now! I can go to the bathroom right after meals! I can go get Starbucks WHENEVER I WANT!!!"
Ignorance is the one quality I hate in people, but there is a type of person I hate more than any other type of individual out there.
I cannot stand people who are fake. When I say fake, I don't entirely mean someone who is kind to you to your face, then says shit about you behind your back. That's not such a big deal to me. The one thing worse than people saying shit about you behind your back, is people not saying anything about you at all.
I cannot stand people who truly think they're something they really aren't. They'd swear to people and themselves that they're something, when they aren't even close... maybe even the opposite.
How in the world is it that we, as Americans, have become so lazy that we assume we're handicapped?
