Ever since I was given the writing prompt about what my names are, I have been obsessed with what we call each other. Names are not so simple as we would like to think. Our names are our identities. So what is your name? What story does your name tell? Where does it come from? Where has it been?

Yes, rambling is ALWAYS a great thing to do. You just kinda say whatever and make no real point. It's fun when talking to friends because they have no freaking idea what you're talking about...
I think stories are incredibly important, especially the ones we
tell about our lives and our collective past. They make absolutely
horrible experiences bearable and often meaningful. Pain without a
purpose is terrifying.
