The baseball regular season is coming to an end; in fact it already did last Monday for all but two teams. I still can't really run without feeling discomfort and pain. I trained really hard in high school and considered running competitively in college until a serious injury crippled me in the fall of my junior year of high school.  Read More »

Lets see, when a high school movie is played in theaters and the "home" team wins, what sport is it usually? Football, Basketball, or Baseball. Why is it only these sports that get glorified down in Tennessee? Ice Hockey is becoming a big sport here, but it is impossible for hockey to get recognized here.  Read More »

Win or lose, you're still a team. I'm tired of going to my local high schools baseball games and seeing the team members toss the bats as a way to vent their frustration. We haven't won a game all season, in fact, if you were to total our scoring points it would add up to 7 total. Tonight, they played hard, members got injured, they sacrificed by bunting, and so forth. And still, they didn't win.  Read More »

I just read that a construction worker, who was working on the new stadium for the New York Yankees, buried a Boston Red Sox t-shirt under the floors of the visitor's locker room. This is supposed to curse the Yankees so they can never win a game.
