i held out a hand for you to hold
i put out my love on the table
i set down the keys
to my S.U.V.
and i placed out my heart beside them.
coco crispies
and a bowl full of milk
are all that i have
this morning.
i look in the spoon
at my bent reflection
and all i see
is me.
you are not here with me
and i'm all alone again
