Why must every decent musical be turned into a big screen film? Why can't the movie industry leave anything alone? I feel like beautiful musicals are being butchered here and nobody else seems to care about this issue. Please somebody out there prove me wrong.

A lot of us evangelical christians and our leaders like to say that America, spiritually, is in the dark. Yet, the reasons given for such statement, I've noticed, always have this one pervasive unchanging common denominator; homosexuals.

What happened to college being the best time of your life? Closing in on the second year of my college career it seems that dream of college, of being on your own, exercising your freedoms and independence, now all in a pile of rubble.

Humans are social beings by nature.  Chances are you like spending time with people, obviously to different degrees for every person, but no one likes always being alone.  From the beginning of our existence we have always traveled in groups; from small tribes to bustling cities, people always find a way to stay together.  I am currently reading a book entitled The Myth of the Rational Voter: Why Democracies Choose Bad Policies.  So far it is an interesting read but it sparked another thought while I was strolling along its pages.
