we were discussing in class about Hilary Clinton running for president and one boy actually had the nerve to say that a woman shouldnt be president because they were too emotional and compassionate. And what made it worse was that another student in the classroom, who was a girl, actually agreed with him. This is where i got upset. we have all heard the story about the man on the radio referring to a girl`s basketball team as "nappy headed hoes". This to me was a double blow because i am both black and a woman. But despite all that, i think he made the comment on purpose. The man should not have been fired because in the end he still won. The radio station he was with violated the contract.  Read More »

I have always found it interesting that down history, females seemed almost always to be a lower rank of human compared to a man. Think of the word, "woman". It alludes to the creation story of Eve from Adam. Supposedly God created Eve from Adam's rib and that is how the two different sexes were initially made.  Read More »
