I have attended two different public schools between my 9th through 12th grade years of school, however a few weeks into my senior year I left and registered into Imani Christian Academy, a private school.

I was just browsing threw some blogs and came acrossed one girls post about racisimin public schools. I must say i agree with her to a point, I never really was confronted with racisim untill i moved back tot he states in 2000. You see i grew up in the military.

As students, we all have items we no longer need. Textbooks, calculators, lab accessories and so many other school necessities collect dust while others search frantically for a place to purchase the items they need to begin their college careers. And as we all know, purchasing those necessities can cause a huge financial strain.

Size 12, Times New Roman is the blue or black pen of the 21st Century. Many students take for granted the ability to Google a subject or make a PowerPoint presentation, but there are students who are likely to treat these terms as a foreign language.

Everyone hates them, students and teachers alike. They are boring, they are frustrating, they are demanding of time... they ASK you to hate them. They happen every year in every school across the nation: state tests.

Damn those state tests!! Or wait... are they really so bad?
