This is an editorial I wrote for my English 101 class that I'm submitting into The Montage again. It will be published shortly and I can't wait!

Even in our world that seems so full of hate, violence, mistrust, shame, and abuse, I would wholeheartedly argue that true love still exists and is all around us.

As children grow, their minds and their understanding of the world grow as well. Those who study juvenile fire setting behaviors believe that a correlation exists between the age of a fire starter and the likelihood that future fires will be set by the child.

I’m not in high school any more (thank goodness), but I would like to examine this subject seeing as it’s that time of year again.

True story: If you roll your windows down while driving, the sun will beat down on one arm, but not the other. You probably won’t notice because of the cool wind racing in through the window.

In other words, I look like a damn candy cane.

Amtrak is a high speed train with service across the country. After September 11th, many people started traveling on the train more because there were fewer time consuming security checks. This is partly due to a lack of security increase on trains after 9-11. To make up for that, they are now planning to up security on Amtrak trains.

Reader’s Digest gave Boston University an A grade on college campus security. Out of the 135 colleges and universities that participated, BU ranked 11th. Although Reader’s Digest calls BU safe I think students on campus, including myself, would question the accuracy of that statement.

Some quick insight into why I might write the following words in this blog. I like to be funny and some people think I'm fairly comical. I say whatever I feel like saying to get a laugh. Politically correct has no meaning to me and being wrong is better than being right all the time.
