LIFE, in general, is a waste. Now, before you go crazy with your hate mail and calling me an emo and such, ask yourself.. What’s the point?

It's a common question: how do I better understand my life? How can I better understand why things happen, why people act the way they do? Why do people make irrational decisions?

The widely popular actress Katharine Hepburn once said, “Without discipline, there is no life at all.” It’s like a child sitting before a coloring book. If the child opens the book to see no lines, he will not have a standard to achieve. How can the child color within the lines when the lines do not exist?

Do you consider yourself a virtuous person? Do you follow your commandments, or a personal set of morals?

Or do you follow your morals just because you're afraid of the retribution put forth by the law, society, conscience, or any other force?

Hey everyone, this is my first post on here, so we will see how it goes. I am a freshman at a private college, and I thought I would discuss that. I go to a private, chrstian college, with many rules and restrictions on what we are allowed to do. For example, they have curfews, dating restrictions, media restrictions (ie: no tv, myspace), and dress code rules.
