Why do Americans care whether their next President Barack Obama can score higher than a 37 in 7 frames of bowling? Why do Americans care how much time Hillary spends picking out her wardrobe in the morning? Why do you care that John McCain has received an endorsement from Heidi Montag from "The Hills"?
I have been getting responses to my first Climate Crisis blog saying that they are yet to see evidence that global warming is around us. What ignorance!
Oh to the days that the country actually was fully in politics. Those were the days when men and women would contribute to the politics by voicing their concern's to the men and women that run the country.
There's too much talk about polotics that people heard from a FM radio station, or on a billboard. I'm tired of it. People just don't know what they're talking about. People posting vauge blogs about the nominee's "promises" or "Political View" -and it's simply because they just don't know, or they're trying to sound stupid. I'm tired of it.
The end of the Republican party
On more than one occasion, I have been witness to racism incarnate concerning the upcoming Presidential Election. I"m GLAD that both a woman and an African-American are trying for the highest office in the land! Unfortunately, many blue-collar and Senior voters do not share my enthusiasm.
On September 11th, 2001 we as Generation Y all witnessed an event that would forever allow future generations to question us on. As so many have labeled it, 9/11 is the modern day Pearl Harbor. Many have challenged this analogy and instead drawn a parallel between September 11th and the sinking of the Lusitania during the times of World War One.
As the administration of one of the most unpopular presidents in United States history concludes its lame duck status, it seems appropriate to look back at two previous administrations in the contemporary era that made the United States electorate look a tad bit smarter. Two of the most popular presidents in history, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton, each ran for a second term and won.
