We've all heard the stories no matter how old you are about the guy who hookups with a chick and runs. Well, it's not just a story. High schoolers see this each and everyday, and many of them experience it. I would say we had atleast 10 pregnant girls at my high school this year, and I think only two of them had a good relationship with her babies daddy.
Ok, here is an issue i have with society:
a guy can go and screw as many girls as he wants, and he's seen as a hero. Sure after a point he gets a bad reputaion, but eer one bad enough to repel girls.
If a girl goes and does the exact same thing: hooks up with a few guys and does the exact same thing, she is seen as a slut.
Okay, I know that this isn't really the proper forum to discuss my personal problems....especially my relationship problems...so I promise, I'll try to expand on my topics so that it relates to more of human kind.
So, here's today's plan: Provide more details concerning my predicament (mostly the why), and provide commentary which others can relate to.
I have no idea how to say this, without revealing my entire personal life. So, fine, I'll just throw it out there.
I'm in a relationship right now, and have been for about 9 months. We've been really happy, with a few bumps here and there, but nothing too serious. However, as of tonight, I recently talked to my girlfriend about something that had been disturbing me. In the beginning of the relationship, I didn't know that she wasn't single, or, at least she never clued me in on it.
i am a senior in high school and i must say i have not had that many boyfriends or dates, mostly because my parents are extremely strict, but that would be a subject for another day, and now i have one.
I have a wonderful boyfriend that is funny, carring, understanding, and verry hot, to me.
Is it honestly possible to define love? Is it truly possible to explain it to someone?
It is truly amazing to see how people change over the years. You think you know someone and then all of a sudden you are looking at the person wondering why you ever hung out with them or cared for them in the first place. Sometimes we build up so many exspectations for the people we once cared about, that we find those people are unable to live up to what or who we thought they were.
