People have their own opinions of the military. I personally wouldn't join the military at all. The ad's on TV are all lies, they say that they will pay for college, give you work experience, and you will receive a lot of money! But really, its all lies...

The first reason that came into my head as to why I should not join the army is this: In the years since I initially showed an interest in joining the army I have developed a different persective on the person I am and the world I live in, and my thoughts and ideas on such current political issues as the war in Iraq, genocides in Africa and the middle east, etc. have evolved and taken on a new shape and sharpness of definition. I am a liberal hippie. As any of you who are my friends know, I am opposed to the war in iraq and opposed to our current governments decisions in general.
