As I scroll through the stations on the Television I see many pointless reality shows. I came across one show that is getting ready to premiere soon. The name of the show is called Hurl. In the show contestants eat alot of food, and then get on a spinning ride. Who ever vomits loses, but the person who doesn't wins 1,000 dollars.
I usually don't like to watch tv unless I'm totally bored and last night was one of those times. I was flipping through the channels and I came across VH1 and MTV. Now, I know that MTV doesn't play music anymore (boo!!) but I still thought that it should have SOME reference to music since it is MUSIC television.
I've heard the term "MTV Generation" several times when adults look at my age group, but I never really thought about it. I made the connection that MTV plays music videos (or at least, they used to. Not sure what's happened lately). I thought the comment was directed at a new generation liking different music. There's nothing wrong with that.
