I was born:

A white male in an upper-middle class family

I was brainwashed to believe (by my parents, relatives, my surrounding community, and through private schooling):

That I should play it safe and not talk to African-Americans as most are dangerous.
That interracial marriage was wrong.

Body: Reasons for Being on the Streets

So, in part one, I introduced what I was going to talk about. Children deviants in the streets of Brazil (for the full introduction, check out my link). This was a paper written for one of my classes, could be informative and helpful. :) This part is just explaining the theoretical base of the paper. :) Enjoy.

Are you aware that the precentage of short term suspension has increased by 2.1%, and that the 77.6% of drop outs are from children between the age of 16-18 years of age. Do you feel that School policys are the leading cause of this? For example the school uniform code, do you feel that this Policy drives students to act out or drop out of school?
