Well I just finishes the semester at my Old community college aka Glendale Community College. While I love the campus and faculty the students and a few teachers are an absolute disgrace to the campus. They are the reason I am changing to Paradise Valley Community College.
ok well this is my first blog and i just want to write what im feeling right now. im in class and i was thinking about my school and the people in it. and i come to realize there is a lot of racism in this school. not by the kids but by the teachers and administrators. my school is a mixed school you cant really tell which race dominates.
Three months ago, many would've thought that Senator Barack Obama was untouchable after his massive wins during Super Tuesday etc. However, amid the Reverend Jeremiah Wright controversy, Republicans and opponents of Obama are on cloud 9 especially since Wright is fueding with Obama and given Senator Hillary Clinton her biggest jump in weeks.
Although this is not an english word I believe everyone should have their own word like this to know who they are. The reason is because people are so quick to judge someone who is different then they are but, they have never realised that they may be the same.
Could this be a term for "gay" people? Could this be a term for "white" people? the answer is no.
The journey that is life makes many interesting stops and detours along the way.
"When a black baby is born, it's black. When a black man is angry, he is black. When a black man is sick, he is black. Whe he dies, he is black. However, when a white baby is born, they're purple. When they are sick, they're green. When they're angry, they're red. When they're embarassed, they turn pink. When they die, they turn blue." He then says, "So which one of us is truly colored?"
I must admit that I am often annoyed by the fact that racism is still an issue in our society. I am a firm believer, even after what I am about to tell you, that racism only exists because we allow it to.
The more I hear these "mistakes" that Obama says, the more I like him!
