Wow. Glitches fix themselves quickly sometimes. I can once again see the Flair! Which means, it's time to expound upon another thought-provoking piece!
progressivism

Progressive Facebook, Day Six, Part Two: "Sometimes We Put Up Walls."

Progressive Facebook, Day Six: It Seems There's A Glitch...
Sorry to dissapoint anyone out there actually following my quest to find and share progressivism I find on Facebook, and any thoughts that come along with it. But today, as I went to browse the recently popular Flair for one to use as this blog's subject, I hit a bit of a road block.

Progressive Facebook, Day Five: "I'm Just a Nobody Trying to Tell Everybody About Somebody Who Can Save Anybody."
Today's Flair of the Day is white, and in blue letters reads, "I'm just a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody who can save anybody."
...
Woah, woah, woah. Hold on a sec...let's take a second to wrap our minds around that, if we need to. It sure threw me for a loop when I first read it.

Progressive Facebook, Day Four: The Jesus Button
Yes, folks, you read that right. The Jesus button. I'm sure many of you are familiar with the Staples tradmeark Easy Button, yes? Picture that, but instead of the word 'easy' scrawled across it's shiny surface, it reads 'Jesus.'
An interesting bit of Flair from Facebook, I'd say. I nearly passed it up as the subject for this blog, but I have to admit that it just called me back.

Progressive Facebook, Day Three: "Don't Follow in my Footsteps; I Run Into Walls"
Day three of my quest to find progressivism in the Pieces of Flair application on Facebook, and on the second page of recently popular Flair, I come across a white one with black footprints in the middle. Above the footprints, it reads "Don't follow in my footsteps," and below them, it continues, "I run into walls."
Humorous, yes? But if you really think about it...

Wait... what?
We are all progressive aren't we? No, actually, I will have to disagree. We all are on this website for who knows how many hours a day, but how many of us are making a difference in society? I have seen here and there in various blogs where people admit to spending hours upon ours on this site, or that it is the first and last thing they do everyday.

Climbing the Cables on the Golden Gate Bridge
Today, there were people climbig the cables on the Golden Gate bridge. I was just admiring the vast beauty of this bridge on Friday and now, there are people risking their lives on the cables holding it up. I think it is great!
So you think you can progress?
To Progress is to move forward, continually, into a brighter tomorrow.
Also, it probably helps to do it without cliches. Progress is hope, and change, and all the things that Barack Obama talks about but it's not progress because he talks about it, it's progress because he's doing something about it, and he's motivating other people to do something about it.
