Sarah Palin, as everyone is by now aware, has been chosen as John McCain's running mate. Until a few days ago, all I knew was that she's the Republican Governor of Alaska. Now that she's the VP pick, I've begun doing my homework as have so many others and have summed it up rather much as she supports most of what I oppose and opposes most of what I support. I find it funny that Hillary Clinton has been trying to use Sen. Obama's comments against him. If you have not heard the full quote, Obama said:

I hate to be another person commenting on one of the ever prominent issues of this current presidential race, but I just can't help it. Being a woman of color, and a Political Science major, race is an issue that is constantly brought up to me. I do have to admit thoough that I am slightly biased and tend to lean towards issues that affect minorities and women seeing that I fit both categories.  Read More »
