Wow, Thats the only word I could think of when I look back at last week. Obama has not only surpassed McCain in the polls but he is continuing to widen the gap everyday. The problems with McCain's campaign are numerous. Many Evangelicals feel that he is not conservative enough. In response they are joining the Libertarians.
Presidential Elections

GOOD BYE BILL CLINTON
Politics can be very unpredictable and is a devious business for all involved. Last year, no one barely knew Senator Barack Obama, now he is on his way to being the Democratic nominee for president. I know this is a hard pill to swallow for Senator Hillary Clinton and even more so for former President Bill Clinton. There were suppose to be so many firsts for this family, like being the f

"It doesn't matter if it's Bill Clinton or Daffy Duck"
Yesterday, Bill Clinton made a five-town tour of West Virginia with the goal being to sway our vote in the primary next week. When Kennedy ran, he spoke in West virginia right before the primary, and managed to get our vote, which turns out made him the democratic candidate. For whatever reason, Bill Clinton decided that my school was an important step in this. Perhaps it was the name, Athens.
Competitive Bashing.
Every time I turn on the television it seems like the only thing I see is the candidates bashing each other. I find this to be very immature and ignorant. Now, I understand that with any election you have competitors putting each other down. However, this is a very important election. I can't emphasize this enough.
New Orleans: Tear It Down or Whatever. The John McCain Philosophy.
What were people thinking when they let McCain run anyway. With every passing week, the notion I hold about his sanity is confirmed. President Bush already messed up our country. I can't imagine why America supports a man who doesn't want to clean up Bush's mess altogether. McCain was recently in New Orleans and showed some more of his true colors.

On Gay Marriage and God and the Presidential Elections
Everyone is making a big deal out of Obama being (partially) black and Clinton being a woman. What an exciting time to be alive and witnessing politics! You know what would be a whole lot more controversial and a whole lot more exciting? I would like to see someone who is gay run for president.
This topic has been wrung dry and I apologize. i just need to get my thoughts out.
Experience
A bit odd for me to write on this after I delivered a speech to about 250 people about the exact opposite principle (different circumstances however). With the upcoming U.S. Presidential Elections, I think we need to lock down on one particularly important issues that is in no way an issue in terms of how we perceive it to be now.
Obama's Lack of Bowling Skillz Means he Cannot run the Country
As many of you have probably heard, Democratic Presidential Candidate, Barack Obama can't bowl. It's a complete disgrace to America. After all bowling is vital to the well being of the American nation. What kind of example would Obama set for middle America? If Barack became president, the letters D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R pop into my mind. You know what those spell?
