What were people thinking when they let McCain run anyway. With every passing week, the notion I hold about his sanity is confirmed. President Bush already messed up our country. I can't imagine why America supports a man who doesn't want to clean up Bush's mess altogether. McCain was recently in New Orleans and showed some more of his true colors.
As the presidential campaign for 2008 continues on, I can't help but take notice to how people stand on different issues. I can see now that major issues concerning Iraq, the economy, and healthcare are all headlining these campaigns -- and it begs the question: "What do we really want as the American people?"
The answer is simple, right?
Personally, I am not going to declare a party when I vote. I am going to vote as an independent voter. I support gay marriage, I support our troops and I think that we should finish what we started in Iraq. I don't think I will ever get the money I have paid into Social Security. I think that schools need more funding. I support gun control.
I sat there in math class last year arguing with the guy behind me... he kept saying that women shouldn't be in the white house. That we are inferior to men. That we cannot make decisions. That we would be too soft. That we wouldn't defend our country. I asked him, "Why?" Why are we so inferior to men?

Rudy Giuliani, John Edwards drop out, Romney continues attacking? At about 9:00 pm Eastern Time The associated press wire said Edwards was dropping out on January 30th 2008. Giuliani anti terrorist vote to go to McCain.
