Political Correctness

Santamas, the War on Christmas, and other such failures of society. (Finished.)
I was recently in a blog entitled "Florida Legislator Seeks to Ban Use of the Term 'Illegal Alien.'" [Link.] Jackbenimble mentioned that this kind of political correctness reminds him of the use of Newspeak in George Orwell's "1984." Though I have always thought Political Correctness was stup Read More »

Forbidden Discourses
In Ray Bradbury's famous novel, Fahrenheit 451, the citizens of a futuristic society are not allowed to speak their minds. In fact, they have a much worse problem: there is nothing on their minds to speak about. They don't even read books, because they are afraid of addressing new subjects and expanding their intellects. When your friend are smoking tons of cigarettes a day
Do we really think they would be okay. Read More »

She had a dream that she was the elephant and that she was the one who was to save these small "who" people. Read More »

More and more youth are beginning to take interest in who takes office because of the ongoing scandals and manipulations. Animate Me!
Cartoons have been a part of our society ever since Walt Disney created the incredible mickey mouse and his crew. They entertain us, make us laugh, and... teach us about politics? Well at least that's what a lot of political cartoonist have been trying to do, yet their messages never really seem to get across to the ordinary man, because like politics, they require a little thought.
