Within the realm of the earth; there are so many religions out there, one too many to count. A good handful of them branching from Christianity. The one I would like to single out here is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Breaking Free of Some Stereotypes While Embracing Others
What do you think of when you hear that something is a stereotype? Usually, I'd easily assume you have a similar reaction to mine. Stereotypes are bad, or wrong, or misleading. Stereotypes tell us that all women belong in the kitchen or all black people are "gangstas" and the like. Especially if you've spent any amount of time on this site, you'd see some stereotypes aren't quite so bad.

The police were condensing everything into boxes and loading this stuff into one of their own trucks.
“There’s so much here to pack up,” complained one officer.
“Well if I’d known you were coming, I could’ve prepared better,” I said, half rebellious and half joking.

Observations From High School
These are simply a few observations I made during four years worth of high school. You may find yourself thinking some of the same things.
1. No one will notice or care about your dirty shoes or the stain on your shirt unless you keep pointing it out.
2. No one will take you seriously if you overuse the word “like”. Except maybe Paris Hilton.

For a time, my Dad and I were vendors at an indoor flea market. To keep myself sane during those long days I would bring a book to read and a notebook in case I was at all inspired to write. This is what I wrote:

Gas Prices Teaching Economics
When I was younger, possibly as long ago as elementary school, I didn’t understand what the big deal was over gas prices. I’d hear my dad or some other adult complaining about paying over a dollar a gallon. They’d look for gas stations that were self-serve so they could save a few cents.
