You know that point in the interview where the person asks you about your one greatest strength and your one greatest weakness?

MY EPIC ADVENTURES AT THE CROWN FLEA MARKET

Trust me, there is sarcasm in the title of this blog entry.

For a time, my Dad and I were vendors at an indoor flea market. To keep myself sane during those long days I would bring a book to read and a notebook in case I was at all inspired to write. This is what I wrote:

December 8th, 2007

It took me 6 years of my husband's repeated compliments to even believe that I was pretty. The reasons why I fell into this trap don't matter now, I just want to get all of that brainwashing out of my system.

Yet another day of drama ensues. Britney’s sister is engaged and planning her pregnancy, Heidi released another single that seems to attack her man, and Obama has been rumored to be related to Brad Pitt.

Please.

I'm telling you. . read my prior posts. That's an order. . .Why? Because if you do, then and only then will you understand what I mean when I say that I am three different ladies all in one. And that, my friend, is what really makes me . . well me.

This is a letter that was written awhile ago by me confessing my feelings toward the loss of a friendship. It was written generally to appeal to anyone in my situation. It was published in my high school newspaper, The Chat:

I'm a magnet for trouble. The last one to really understand the punch line of a joke. . . and the real klutz of the hour. Though, if there's one thing I can ace anyone in, besides school work, is reading people and understanding their body language. It's how I know who to trust, who to rely on, who to be best friends with. Regrettably enough, I'm only human. . . and I've made mistakes.
