With the most recent events in my career, which is my life, I have begun to lament not being able to turn back time. You see, I was never trained to be an English teacher. I was never trained to be a teacher at all. However, when I applied to grad school they said, "You must have teaching experience, and it would be better if you went to the country you wanted to do research in.

I have a tendency to be one of those people who says what she means and means what she says. There's nothing wrong with that, but I've realized lately that things I said when I first joined ProgressiveU two years ago or even things I said last year aren't necessarily the same way I view things now.

We've all been there at one point or another. Either one of your friends or someone sitting nearby in class has pulled out a cheat sheet for a test or quiz. It is obvious to you, but the teacher never seems oblivious to any actions they make. From writing on the desk, to putting the answers inside of your pen, I have heard and seen many ways to cheat. So, when that time comes the question is...

Becoming a Righteous Babe...

Learning is the life long journey that begins with a single sentence.
I love nothing more than spending time by myself, just thinking. It's.... exhilarating. Pondering all those strange thoughts that run through your head, picking up or losing steam as they go along is a learning experience. And I never turn down the opportunity to learn something new, even if it is something as unenlightening as why I hate mornings or why the word whitherward makes me smile.
