I'm finding more and more that you can see messages for progress in almost anything. Watching a TV show, there may be underlying themes of equality or acceptance. Driving down the road, drivers resist the urge of succombing to road rage even though they'd love to chew out the guy who just cut them off.
Sometimes it just makes me want to disappear for a while, and take a year off and just travel around different places in Europe to collect my thoughts and reflect about my past, present, and future.
As we all know change is infinite and no matter how much we wish things were different than what they are now, there is not much we can do about it most of the time. For instance, we must all go to off into the strange abyss known as college and take that final journey into adulthood as we grow into mature, young adults.
MY EPIC ADVENTURES AT THE CROWN FLEA MARKET
Trust me, there is sarcasm in the title of this blog entry.
For a time, my Dad and I were vendors at an indoor flea market. To keep myself sane during those long days I would bring a book to read and a notebook in case I was at all inspired to write. This is what I wrote:

If you haven’t already, eventually, you are going to leave home. Exciting! Well, for a while. Then you realize you have no idea what you’re doing. Maybe you should have tried the dorm life first? Maybe living in the dorms wasn’t a good enough transition between living at home and your first apartment?
So today, I thought I would share with all of you a little piece of where I live. You'll either find this completely humorous or grotesque depending on where you live and how you were raised.
Well, yesterday, Monday, September 10th 2007, I am happy to say I was one of the huggers out there. I really prepared for my day for hugging. In the morning I made a sign that read
"FREE HUGS!"
and on the other
"SEPTEMBER 10th
HUG DAY
SPREAD PEACE (peace sign) ONE HUG AT A TIME!"
