Why is that parents are telling us one thing but do another? Why do they tell us to believe in something and then shut us down when we do?

We love to hear stories of the idyllic lives of hunter-gatherers who lived in harmony with nature, until the big, bad Agricultural Revolution came along, which led to a series of other revolutions, including the Industrial Revolution and the Scientific Revolution. These revolutions continuously robbed us of our equality, and made life more complicated than it needs to be.

I don't think I described myself so well in the forum, so here goes absolutely nothing:

I am 16, I describe myself as "left-wing", and I am a WASP. Though I am a Christian, I am not preachy, and I respect your right to disagree with religion. However, I will react vehemently to people who attack me for it.

ok well i was watching 20/20 last night and they had a section of this show about a man who was changed with sexual asult when he was 19. what happened was he was dating a 15 year old girl and she wanted have sex with him so they did. the mom found out and told the police not intending to ruin his life. the police aressted him after the girl told police it was her idea and she concented to it.

Eighteen months ago, my life changed forever. Eighteen months ago, I was a foolish little girl who didn’t know what I believed or what I stood for. Then I woke up. I read of a rabbi who said that “maturity is achieved when a person postpones immediate pleasures for long-term values”, and then I met a person who showed me that it was true.

Everyone has guilty pleasures. Mine happen to be singing in the shower while using my hand as a microphone, listening to old-school country, watching reality tv like Big Brother or The Real World, being excited when a friend gets sick so I can help them and gossiping.

I know it's been touched upon in many blogs world wide but I want to tell you my point on this subject. Sex has many feelings towards it, if it is good or bad. In my school and old school it is talked about so much that I wonder when it will stop. I was raped at a young age by my cousin who I dearly loved. He told me that we would grow up and raise a family together.

This Blog will focus on how churches affect people. The author of "Why I'm a Wiccan" said in his second paragraph that the only thoughts he has when he hears the word church are bad ones. Why? The reason is not so far fetched. People at church are people, and if you focus on them you can't get anywhere in this kingdom or they might even hurt you.. and you better believe it.
