parenting skills

I did not think I would write about this but alas I can not sleep. If I can remember something past twelve hours and that something still bothers me, I have no choice but to lay it out.

“Mrs. Jenkins! Look out behind you!” *crash* “Ah…Thank you Sally. Here’s an extra box of animal crackers. As for you Johnny…that axe almost hit me. You’re going to spend the rest of recess in time-out for that.” My question this time around is quite blunt. What the hell is the world coming to?

There is this really nice family that I know. They have three kids, two boys, one 3 and the other 5, and one girl who is 10. The parents are wonderful people who love and adore their children. But, I have an issue with how they raise them. I was around the children, namely the daughter, and was telling her mother a story about my accident.

I was raised in a pretty strict home with a ridiculously overprotective mother. In 6^th grade when I was allowed to join the musical theater program and stay for the after school practices, it was like the break through of my life.
