Parenthood's Toll
Grown ups thinks that by telling us a lot, that is communicating. actually they are running there own show. We pretend to listen. but their words...evaporate instantaneously.
They don't care if we really heard, so long as they said their piece.
Sometime when we try to get our words across to them, we get told off for everything we say....gradually we learn to shut up.
And thus we also learn to shun them out.
