overacheiving

I think we're all familiar with the overachieving types.

I come from an unfortunate socioeconomic background.
I've turned my experiences into motivation to start a charity for underprivededged children.
Each year, I raise money at school for a third world country to send medical supplies, food, and clothing.
I've had an internship at a law firm for four years now.

I think it's just good for people when they understand they can't be good at everything. There are those of us who try to achieve greatness in every academic subject and in every type of interest available to them (like sports, creative writing, art, etc). These are not simply over-acheivers. I think people who refuse to accept defeat in any subject deserve another name. Maybe...foolish?
