Harvest Moon in a once clear sky
On the drive to the farm we pass a few usual sights. The cow, fence, cow, "OO OO BARN," cow, fence, cow ruetine. The little chapel. The field with random trenches that thousands of stories have been told from. The yard that you have to wonder if another car could ever fit in. Hug Your Local Dog Musher: Thoughts on the Iditarod
Today I witnessed my first Iditarod race. Jeff King led the over 60 mushers into Unalakleet, AK (a checkpoint on the way from Anchorage to Nome) at which the winner receives $2,500 in gold pieces. What happened to Childhood?
I miss my childhood.
I remember always being outside and with friends, just roaming around the neighborhood looking for something to do. We use to play baseball, soccer, kickball, and even tag at like 9:30 p.m. before the town curfew.
