Well, I haven't been here for a while due to some computer issues that have been recently resolved. Hooray! So, now I'm back, I'm going to do a little talking about something that my mom told me, which has me a little confused.

How a Theft Got Me Hired
I just back from filling out some paper work today for my new job as a lifeguard, and my new boss mentioned that part of the reason she hired me had to do with a previous theft of my personal belongings. No, it wasn’t a pity hire, it was because she liked the way I had handled myself. Let me give you some back story.

I marvel time and again at the intense fear in which some Christians live. For a people with the hope of salvation, they don't seem all that happy. I suppose, though, that I would be pretty miserable if I had been trained to believe that the devil lurks everywhere, and that every worldly person or thing is a tool he uses to lure us into eternal damnation.
'Tis the Season!
Every year around this time, I stoop into this mood. It's when everything that was so recently new and exdciting is no longer, and I never cease to think "This sucks, I hate this, I want to go home" etc. With some experimentation I am determined to find a cure to my late summer blues this year, because frankly, this sucks!
