Today I was coming home from my appointment that I had at the hospital and I decided to turn on the radio of the car. There was a commercial talking about what topics were going to be covered in the local news of our town. I was shocked to hear that one of the topics to be covered was about the health hazards that we were going to experience during this year's summer days.

Natural Selection: Just Let Them Die?
Here’s a tough thought that I have been analyzing. It’s quite drastic and not something I personally support, but here it is:
What if we let natural selection do its job and let the poor, war-stricken, and starving people die? It sounds terrible, I know, but bear with me.

Into the Wild: Admirable or Selfish?
While visiting graduate schools this past month, trying to find the perfect fit, I spent my time in the airports, buses and subways reading "Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer. I was told by several friends close to me that the movie was amazing and that the young Chris McCandless (the stories protagonist) was a bold, and awe-invoking character.

lovelovelove, what is love?
"And I am convinced that nothing can ever seperate us from His love. Death can't and life can't. The angels can't and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away." Romans 8:38
Too Many People
Genesis and Disturbed had it right when they said the world has "too many men, making too many problems". The thing is, the number of people born outnumber the people who die. Each day the human population gets larger, while the population of all the things in the natural world gets smaller.

Let's Braid Hemp and Get High! : Day 14
I've come to terms with the fact that Harmony Grove has turned me into a hippie. Now, I've always been liberal. Pretty damn liberal, if I do say so myself. But now?? All hope of being confused for a conservative is gone.
Natural Human Sexuality
Firstly, I beg that the impatient folk waiting for me to get to a point with which they can disagree might bother to lend me their ears rather than their fervent beliefs.

Human Nature
Human nature is, to me, a double-edged sword. On the one hand, you have the opinion of the cynics: people will try to get the most for the least amount of effort. This makes sense to me. It strikes me as true and I can't ignore it.
