Are You Epileptic or Something?
I can't dance. I'm six feet tall, lanky, and Scandinavian. Rhythm is just not going to happen for me. I seldom dance in public, because on occasion, someone will ask me teasingly, "Are you epileptic or something?" So I tell them that, yes, as a matter of fact, I am epileptic, and as such I know for a fact that what I was doing on the dance floor just now is nothing like an epileptic seizure.

It's Time We Talked
It’s something I see every single day. When I go online to engage in debate, when I get in discussions of current events in Economics class, even when I listen to speeches made by the leaders of our great nation, I see it. What I see is the polarization of our country into two camps. Members of each camp are convinced they are right, and find the ideas of the other camp to be ridiculous.

They Called me a Tomboy
I was known as the quiet tomboy in my class since elementary school. I didn't know English, but I understood what Tomboy meant. I dressed like a boy, my hair was short, I liked to play sports with the boys, and I was addicted to games. What hurt me the most was that people assumed I was a lesbian, a transvestite...or an alien.
Assume = Ass U Me
Why do people think I am a male? Several times here I have been called a boy, I had a picture of myself with long hair and still I get called a male.
Do I give off masculine vibes? Or do you simply mistake forwardness or whatever as a male trait.
How is it we can assume in such a sanitized environment of typed words that anyone is one sex or another.
