One thing that bothers me quite a lot about modern religions, modern politics, and much of modern life in general, is the emphasis on what is "true," what is "right," and what is "good." Rather than addressing all of these topics at once, which would be quite a thing to take on, I have chosen to examine one of them, truth.
Every now and then I experience a sort of mini-epiphany. I make a little discovery about myself or society in general, or really any other topic. Right now, that topic is Internet friendships or buddies.
Where I live and goto school, I hear racial terms used daily. But not in the racial 'way' that you might think. Such terms that were once used as a hateful term in the past to describe African Americans are now being used as a greeting by African Americans themselves.
I don't understand how the human race can evolve away from racism if such terms are still imminent in todays society.
