Why do we keep on going towards the Middle East? Do they want our opinions, religion, and our presence there? Apparently not.
Then why keep on going back? It is to make ourselves look better, and to prove to the world that we will not back down from anything.
We look today at how the Middle East has shaped American foreign policy changes over the last 50 years or so, and we see that the subtle breaking down of subtlety itself is taking place right in front of our eyes. It seems very apparent that this now waning administration wanted nothing more than an excuse to go into Iraq.
Hehe, I always love a good debate. I am recently reading a book entitled the Thousand Year War and How it affects us today by Richard Mulberry aka Uncle Eric. The book is phenomenal because it looks at the war from both our side and the side of Islam.
Is Hamas really a terrorist group? Israel and the US say so, but why?
Why has Hamas killed over 250 Isrealis in suicide bombings this year? I guess because I am a rational person I find it hard to belive that a political/cultural group would just kill hundreds of Israelis without some sort of legitimate reason. Also, why does the US care enough to classify Hamas as a terrorist group?
What do you think about an economic revolution?
During WW2, many Americans greatly decreased their consumer spending. The Great Depression forced Americans to buy less, and taught them how to save their money. By the time WW2 came about, they still resisted excessive spending in hopes of contributing to the war efforts; allowing much of the money to be put forth in the war.
The role of women in the Middle East has been greatly trivialized by Americans. It seems to be a widely held belief in our society that, throughout the entire area, all women are treated like dogs. The perception is that their husbands keep them locked up, escort them everywhere, beat them, and force them to cover their faces.
Any person does their job better and more effectively when they are supported. The more important a position within an organization is, and the more essential a person’s role is, the more likely that person is to perform their duties without distraction. In the military, a soldier’s job is life or death. He or she works every day in situations where it is essential to have a clear mind and conscience. The military should operate like a well-oiled machine, each person functioning smoothly and without a hitch.
