There has been a proposed smoking ban in the state of Michigan, I've heard that it passed. I am not a smoker. Everywhere I read, smokers complain about their freedom to smoke wherever they want to and how the smoking ban is violating their freedom. I personally find this smoking ban beneficial. The rules of the Conventions were clear. The dates cannot be changed without punishment. The Republicans, who only needed just over 1,000 delegates to win, decided to cut the number of countable delegates in the states that broke the rules. The Democrats decided not to count any. I'm a young girl, 17 to be exact, currently living in Michigan. Michigan is the home to some of the greatest ( I would like to include Madonna, Sufjan Stevens, and Eminem in that category, yo). The winters include snow piles about six feet deep and your car is never clean thanks to the slush and ice.
