Are Caucasians and African American equal?

Why is it whenever I hear a conversation, I hear, "is he black? is she white?" why does it matter? Everyone looks at me and they see a thick black woman who carries herself well. But when i tell someone who im interested in, they say, " he's not your race" DUHHH!! i dont get why people look at someone's race first.

The movie "When Harry Met Sally" is wonderful. It really got me thinking though. Can women and men be friends? Is it really possible to never have any sort of physical or mental attraction to a friend of the oppsite sex?

It's two a.m. and I'm watching the smoke from my cigarette, curl in infinite grey eddies through the air in front of me. A visual representation of the conversation I'm having with my three friends, all at cardinal points. We're having a war conference, of sorts. The discarded "Baconator" wrappers, and empty fry boxes, scattered about the kitchen table serve as a map.

First, let me just say I am a woman and I am all about woman rights. But it’s not so much as woman rights; it is more of human rights. Man and woman were clearly designed differently. Each of us was designed for different tasks. Designed for tasks that equal each other! I do not think that men are more important then women, or visa versa!

I never understand that now a days that the nice guys are the one finishing last, or not finishing at all. I have had relationships that because i was so nice, i get taken advantage of. I am the one always running errands for her and doing other things. Then the relationship never works out for me.

Well now you see...to me...Chivalry is a dieing breed!
