There is very little I can remember before the age of thirteen, when I started keeping a daily journal with almost religious fervor. If I try hard I can remember facts pretty well - that I got up at six thirty in the morning to catch the bus at seven twenty-five, that my brother was in the same school as I during the first two grades, that I was in a fight in third grade.

A Childhood Memory

What do you remember, baby?
I went for a walk tonight with my hubby into town. It was so clear out, and the kind of chilly that would make you cold unless you kept moving. We were both exhausted emotionally from school work: six page midterms on business or calculus and the like.

S.O.S. (Same 'Ol...uh, "Stuff!")
Have you ever noticed how short-term our memories are over a period of time?

Dear Daddy, Addressed Heaven
Dear Daddy,

Betting that.....
That A Memory is only a memory
Nothing capable of supporting life
Nor capable of killing it

Remember, remember, the 11th of September - Share your story.
It's been 6 years to the day since the terriost attacks of 9/11, this is the first time that the date fell on a Tuesday again. A day that will always be remembered in American history. The day the twin towers went down - This is the stuff text books are made of. 6 years since the event that set in motion the war in Iraq.

Bittersweet...us and our eternity*
I wrote this when I was not me...How does that happen?
I am me when I talk to you
when you talk to me-
when I love and am loved.
So when did I start losing my way?
and, in the process, start becoming someone else,
some other red blue soul.
