This is a line that Will Ferrell speaks in the movie Elf. I'm a big SNL fan in general and this line is priceless every time. Ferrell's character is obviously telling someone that they're a big fat liar. It's a funny scene, but I can't help but think these days that as a world, we're not serious enough about lying and dishonesty.

A white lie is defined as something insignificant that you lie about.. for example : Oh, I was in the restroom, but in all truthfulness, I was in the kitchen...
So, when does lying about little things progress into being a pathological liar?
So a while ago I took a look at abortionNO.org, an anti-abortion site that uses shock tactics such as pictures of aborted fetuses and genocide imagery (body parts of blown-up dead kids, photos from the Holocaust, etc). Frankly when I look at an aborted fetus I just think it's gross looking, I don't think it looks human.
There has been a many of cases where politicians are stepping down from office and getting impeached because of sex and lies. Bill clinton got in trouble for having an affair in the house. So What! if he wants to get a professional by another woman, who are we to tell him he cant. He's the president!
so im reading this very interesting book that analyzes pop culture and american lives and values called Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs by Chuck Kholsterman. Behind the profanity and some of the explict material...it actually has substence oddly enough.
Obama and Hillary, as you know are the huge canidates for the democrats and have been fightning it since day one in this hyge epic battle for presidential nominee. each has said over and over again about all the change they plan to inact if they become president, yet both are senators and both play a role in starting and passing legislation.
My first post!!! I'd like to talk about integrity. I mean honestly (hahaha), people today don't have a lot of it. People lie all the time about who they really are or how they really feel. It is impossible to really know someone these days because everybody has this fake shield they use to cover up whats really going on inside. Why do people lie?
