I have missed you a lot lately and it has been a while since I was in that white wash room. August 25 will be 2 years. Sometimes it doesn’t seem like that long other times it feels like you were just a figment of my imagination. Someone I made up so I would have someone to talk to, someone who annoyed me, but I loved.
This is part of my story. It is from the recent past to, so all the details are still fresh in my mind. I was having a rough time in life two years ago. I made a lot of mistakes. These mistakes are important for me to understand why I did things the way I did. I don't want to repeat them.
To a lot of you, this blog might not seem very progressive. But that's because you don't really know me. In my case, what I am about to tell you is a big thing. It was a big step for me, took a lot of courage, and almost didn't happen. But I found strength I didn't know I had, and pushed my insecurities aside.
I had a conversation with friends over the weekend about our natural desire for vengeance and how this is different from real justice. It was quite enlightening for me, so I'd like to throw my thoughts out there.

It was a windy, dreary Monday afternoon when I finally gave in to the pitiless yearning in the depths of my stomach.
He was standing a few inches away from my locker with a couple of his friends, tilting his head back with a genuine laugh that, upon hearing, would brighten anyones day.
In October we moved to one of the subdivisions just outside the city limits. We live in a big four bedroom house with big windows and a big kitchen and a two car garage, etc etc. The house is on a hill and we've got wonderful neighbors and it's so quiet up here. The lower roads of the subdivision go around a pretty big lake, one of the lakes that supplies water to the city.
