As I am not a fan of the current election (or most politics, as I don't have $100M), I have to say that the news is pretty slow if you're to believe the local NBC affiliate.
However, I was doing a little online snooping and came across a terrible injustice: The M&M Mars Company is trying to kill the Naked Cowboy!
July 1st marked the first day for a lot of Indiana laws to take effect. One makes drunk driving accidents a violent crime. One makes low-stakes gambling legal in taverns. One well overdue law requires an eight hour hold on anyone charged with domestic violence. One law was overturned by a federal judge the day it came in effect- Indiana's "Naughty Law," as one local news program called it.
Because I haven't heard a good one yet. Usually, I just hear the same old arguments like, "Marriage is between a man and a woman!" I am apt to respond, "Says who?" Almost invariably, the answer I get is: "God!"
Being in college is hard as hell. Especially when you have no money. I have a friend that I'm really concerned about because she just got convicted. No she didn't kill anyone or hurt anybody; she just stole food from the grocery store to eat, got caught, and now she has to go to court in a few days about her misdemeanor charge.
are we alive? i know that sounds stupid but are we? can we prove that we are alive. of course there'll be some know-it-all that'll tell me. "duh. one shot to the head should prove that you were alive." what i mean though is. couldnt it be that all our life is just imagined. it could be made up.

I want to discuss why Americans have the whole serial killer issue. In most other countries, they don’t have wackos like we do. I want to know why Canadians and other countries don’t have a Jeffery Dahmer? If you all don’t know who that is, he is a very famous serial killer known for eating his victims.
I agree that there should be respect in this world for varying viewpoints and lifestyles. Unfortunately, the vast majority of wars have come due to religious reasons or radical doctrine that truly resembles religious blind faith. Additionally, I believe that all too often people get an easy pass for what they say and do because they can fall back on "religious respect."
