This is intended to show that, although little attention is give to the subject, kids lighting fires is a problem in the U.S. These fires cause millions of dollars in property damage as well as result in the deaths of approximately 20,000 people per year.

Promoting Self-Esteem Encouraging Delinquency?

I have been thinking about this subject quite a bit in the past couple of days. We have become a society where the value of building good self-esteem is stressed. Particularly in schools. Teachers are constantly attending seminars and studying more about how to raise their students' self esteem. Is this honestly what is best for the kids?
