So, all day I have been formulating my anger and trying to find a cohesive way to put it into words without just writing up another rant filled with expletives and nonsensical phrases. I even see that we have a poll up about this particular topic; and for a short while, I had decided that I would leave it alone... move on, find something else to blog about.

I was watching "The Sex Revolution" on VH1 tonight (this morning?).

They covered the shooting of George Muscone and Harvey Milk. That shit always gets me emotional. Something to do with the combination of prejudice against sexual minorities and failings of the legal system that seems to get me teary-eyed.

I had a conversation with friends over the weekend about our natural desire for vengeance and how this is different from real justice. It was quite enlightening for me, so I'd like to throw my thoughts out there.

Even in our world that seems so full of hate, violence, mistrust, shame, and abuse, I would wholeheartedly argue that true love still exists and is all around us.

I'm currently 18. Legally an adult. I can legally smoke, legally buy pornography, legally go to strip clubs, legally have consensual sex with another adult, vote for who ever I want, and legally be convicted as an adult.

The Supreme Court is currently in the process of making a decision regarding the potential cruelty of lethal injection, the most popular form of capital punishment in the United States. An opponent of the death penalty in all cases in the United States, I'll save the cruelty argument for another time. Instead, I wish to utilize this space to discuss the process leading up to the death penalty.
