According to a new report by the Pew Center on the States, 1 in every 100 Americans are currently incarcerated. That's a record-breaking total of 2,319,258 in jail at the beginning of 2008.

The big news story for today is Paris Hilton. Surprise surprise she's getting out early. I wonder what took them so long. I would have thought 1 day and a slap on the wrist would have been what she got.

Paris Gets Out Of Jail After 3 Days! (Rumored)

Paris Hilton leaves jail early Thursday morning after a reported sudden illness. After she gets out of the hospital, she goes home... with only a house-arrest anklet. She must be confined to her home for the next 40 days. I first saw this at huffingtonpost.com . Look forward to my article on Paris Hilton and Spolied celebrities in the upcoming hours.
