Everything, has conflicted to me about President George W. Bush's presidency, from what I view as his allies stealing the 2000 election right out of the people's hands and then starting a war in Iraq while side tracking Operation Enduring Freedom and tainting Secretary Gen. Colin Powell's record forever forcing him to display false proof of weapons of mass distruction the UN.

PRESIDENT' BUSH'S VENGENACE: A DEADLY EMOTION THAT HAS CAUSED US OVER $4,000 TROOPS
New Orleans: Tear It Down or Whatever. The John McCain Philosophy.
What were people thinking when they let McCain run anyway. With every passing week, the notion I hold about his sanity is confirmed. President Bush already messed up our country. I can't imagine why America supports a man who doesn't want to clean up Bush's mess altogether. McCain was recently in New Orleans and showed some more of his true colors.
Religion and Politics Are Never A Good Match
My parents are registered as Republicans and are all for McCain. Maybe, not all for McCain, but because they're Catholic, they feel like they are obligated to vote for a Pro-Life candidate in the 2008 Elections. Unlike them, I do not.
When I first discussed politics with my friends, which is very rare, they brought up a few good points about why it was better to vote for Obama than for McCain.

What Our Country SHOULD Be Worried About
Why is our country so busy with the Iraq War, when their are so many people in Africa starving and dying of disease? We are so busy massacring the Iraqi people, and covering up our search for oil with the stupid WMD excuse, that we don't even notice that there are bigger fish to fry. We should be spending our time and money on disease research and feeding the poor.

Anniversaries are funny sorts of things.
Exactly a year ago, April 7, 2008, I was sitting at home. I was away from school for the weekend; it was my first Easter at college, and looks to have been my last as a preacher's daughter. It was also the day my cat died. We'd had her for fourteen years, and she was my constant, shedding companion through every significant life-moment since I was four.

My Position
My stand on the Iraq War is kinda contradicting in some ways.

Raise Your Hand If You're Idealistic!
My hand is raised, that's for sure.
You see, I just don't understand.
You can call me naive, but I honestly don't understand why half of humanity is embroiled in conflict, and the other half is hiding under the covers of their comfort zones.
