For almost the better part of my life, America has been involved in some sort of conflict. Whether it is the end of the Cold War, the initial invasion of Iraq, the War on Terror, or now the "New" Iraqi War, America and our western Allies can't seem to "stop the bleeding".

Americans love to be liked, that’s why McCain can’t win.

Hi everyone. I'm a 18 year old high school graduate out of Mukwonago, Wisconsin. Its a really small town that no one ever comes to because it's so boring, but I'm on my way out. Next year I will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison to major in Nuclear Engineering and Spanish. I am into politics, reading, hispanic cultural studies and other stuff like that.

Here are the 7 nails in Obama's coffin---he pounded the nails in himself

Nail #1. Not revealing his anti -American roots -- TIES TO Rev Wright. Most Black churches are not
anti American. He sat there for 20 years showing poor judgment. Even Oprah had the foresight to leave.

We have now been involved in the Iraq War longer than we were involved in World War II. Where is the War Heading?

This is a "journal entry" I had to write for my Contemporary Issues class and I thought I'd share. But before you read please know that this is based off of my own opinion and backed up by some facts. I do rant a little in this, please don't be rude in commenting. Thank you.

Stephen King: Most Insensitive Man of the Moment

Tagged:  •    •    •

Stephen King said this in an interview on April 4, 2008 at a writer’s symposium for high school students:

"I don’t want to sound like an ad, a public service ad on TV, but the fact is if you can read, you can walk into a job later on. If you don’t, then you’ve got the Army, Iraq, I don’t know, something like that. It’s not as bright."
