There’s this boy that I’ve known since 2001. He and I have been friends since the sixth grade – and yes, we had a thing back in eighth grade. We’re cool towards each other now, and tend to act more like family than exes. We were friends on Myspace, where he was my fourth and I was his eighth. Yeah, that is semi-important.

iPods Paving The Way To An Antisocial Society
If you were to ask a classroom full of students how many of them own iPods more than half of them would raise their hand. iPods are popular amongst the young people. I see a lot of people sporting them around no matter where I am: the store, campus, work. Have you ever seen someone you know around town listening to their iPod?

The technology available these days is astounding. Cell phones are getting smaller, computers are getting faster, and can all of a sudden do more than anyone could have dreamed of twenty, even ten years ago. I'm not saying that technology isn't a great thing, because it is. It's a fantastic tool we can all use to better our lives, make things easier, faster, and more interesting.

For anyone that has read any of my past blogs, you have, no doubt, realized that I have a turbulent, bordering on non-existent relationship with my father. This was not always the case, in fact I used to feel extremely close to him despite his living quite some distance away. When I was in sixth grade, my mom requested that he take my brother and me every other weekend.
