"Watcha"..."A"

When most people think of the term "HEALTH," the presence or absence of disease is usually the first thing that comes to mind.

As if health is somehow either black or white, no room for gray.

For example, some common thoughts are: I am in good health if I do not have a cold, if I am not obese or if I do not have any type of cancer (just to name a few).

I'm really starting to feel left out.

So many people are choosing other kids over me.

This guy I've been kindof into since I've been here, as friends (as in, thought we were going to be close) and I have drifted apart.

I was, really close with him for a long time.

When I grew up, I was very proud to be an American. At the local airshow my heart would swell with pride as the song "I'm Proud To Be An American" played. I dreamed of flying a fighter plane off of an aircraft carrier when I grew up. I watched "Top Gun" so many times i wore out VHS copies of it without number.

Free At Last

I remember in history class learning about the boom that WW2 brought around for the US economy. Suddenly there were factories popping up to make airplanes and employee positions to be filled. It's sad to see that we have failed to do the same now. A recent television broadcasts exposed our Tacoma port operations of importing crates of goods from China.

I believe that if a person wants to be able to really understand other peoples opinions, and where their views come from that they must travel to other countries to see different cultures. Going to Canada and Mexico is great, but their is so much else out their, and so much to see that you should hop on a plane and go somewhere.

SO! Kosovo declared independence today! Yay Kosovo. But what should you know about the repercussions of this historic event?
